ELITE WAVE RULES
This is a serious competition with serious cash paid out. These rules are in place to protect all Elite Wave participants. Because we take our Elite Wave athletes seriously, we expect the athletes to take the rules seriously. No exceptions will be made on any rules.

You must be at least 16 years old on the day of the event. If under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must co-sign your waiver on location.

Elite Wave participants will be chip-timed.

Participants must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before their wave time. We recommend participants arrive 1 hour before their wave time.

If participants are not checked-in 45 minutes prior to their wave time, they forfeit their opportunity to participate in the Elite Wave but will be able to run in the Open Wave.

Participants are required to be inside the starting corral 30 minutes prior to wave time for mandatory rules and safety speech.

Completion of an obstacle consists of starting on the entry platform, and successfully arriving at the exit platform without failure. If participants touch the ground or any areas deemed off-limits while attempting an obstacle, this is considered failure and will result in the participant doing full-range burpees.

Failure to complete an obstacle will result in the participant to move to the exit of the obstacle and perform the designated amount of full-range burpees. Failure to complete the full amount of full-range burpees before moving to the next obstacle may result in disqualification.

Failure to complete any obstacle within Alcatraz will result in automatic disqualification and eligibility for cash prize.

Rules are subject to change at any event.
